Hohenlinden
December 3, 1800
Hohenlinden is often eclipsed by the Marengo as Napoleon was not present but it effectively ends the Revolutionary era as it is the last major battle before Napoleon is crowned Emperor in 1804.
Both armies had had several months to group ost Marengo but the spirits of the Austrians were still not high. An 18 year old Arch Duke Charles thought he was ready to take on the French and get the fight against the Revolution back on track but his day was to come later. One thing he had not learned yet was the value of reconnaissance.
In this scenario I will present both a 8' x 4' version (referred to as standard) and a 12' by 6' version (referred to as condensed) for those who use condensed scale or who have a lareger table at thier disposal.

Standard Map

Condensed Map
Game parameters
Weather is Overcast. Basic length is 2 turns.
Ground is Soft (it has snowed the night before)
Game length is 6 turns.
Table size is 8' x 4' (12' x 6' condensed)
Grenier is CinC until Moreau arrives.
Re-enforcment rolls. Each turn the side that has lost initiative checks thier other die (the one not used for initative). If it is below the current pulse number they may attempt to bring on a re-enforcement if they roll above the commanders control number (no roll required for Moreau).
Re-enforcment rolls begin right away in the condensed scenario and start on turn 2 in the regular scenario.
